The Lunchbox Series with Everybody’s Oma

Webinar Series  (Tues 13 April, Wed 21 April & Thurs 29 April 2021)

Have you heard of Everybody’s Oma? Or Oma’s Applesauce? If not, do yourself a favour and brush up on your Oma viewing – she is just delightful!

Whether you have been touched by dementia or Alzheimer’s yourself, or you just want to hear from the creative brain behind (and in front of) the videos of Oma that have gone viral – please join us for this webinar series that follows on from the webinars we ran last year, ‘Navigating Dementia’.

Join Infinite Care, Jason van Genderen and his wife Megan as they share their intimate journey with Jason’s mother, affectionately known as Oma, as her Alzheimers progresses under their care.

Jason and Megan run their household with four children ranging from ages 2 – 19, and Jason’s parents all in the mix. We ask them to share with us how their family copes with the daily challenges, what made Jason decide to share their journey with the world, and how the awareness continues to spread around the globe.

This ‘lunchbox series’ has been purposely designed to fit perfectly into your lunchtime with three half hour episodes spread over three weeks. If for some reason you are unable to join live, the episodes will be recorded and made available to view at a later time.

Their documented journey continues to gather momentum and we are very excited to share this with you all.

Please register your interest below, and don’t forget to bring along your lunch!

(Past Event) Navigating Dementia – Survival Secrets of a Long Term Carer

Webinar Series (21 July,  28 July & 4 August 2020)

Join Infinite Care as we chat to Carolyn Cranwell, author of the book ‘Navigating Alzheimer’s’.

Carolyn cared for her husband Richard for over 18 years as he transitioned from ‘something didn’t seem quite right’ to passing away as a result of Alzheimer’s. All while running a professional career and a family.

Read more about Carolyn here and don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear her personal journey in an informal interview-type setting.

“Carolyn gets the balance of humour and sensitivity just right as she shares her and Richard’s love story alongside a disease which ultimately took her husband away from her. More importantly, Carolyn provides the reader with practical tips on supporting carers of those with Alzheimer’s. Carers are the people who are often overlooked and Carolyn has now given them a voice,” says one reader.
