Working in aged care feels like having a really large family. I love the connections I make with the residents and their families. Being able to make a difference and continually care for the residents is very special.
I started here as a kitchen assistant 3 years ago, where I enjoyed providing our residents with nutritious meals and interacting with them on my tea runs. I now work as the administration officer where I love being able to greet residents and help make their days special.
I commenced my first role in Aged Care law in 2018, taking a break and coming back just 18 months later to an inhouse role. I couldn’t stay away! I have been so pleasantly surprised by how positive everyone here is, no matter how hard the day may be. I love experiencing the personal satisfaction of knowing that I am doing a job that genuinely makes a difference. No two days here are ever the same and I bring energy, smiles and laughter wherever I go – including my workplace.
I found Aged Care as a 19 year old uni student filling in shifts for my (now) Mother-in-laws facility where she was the Director of Nursing for. I did everything from PCW, Lifestyle, cleaning and kitchenhand shifts. Years later I found myself working in Retirement and Residential Aged Care for 7 years and then joined Infinite in 2018. The thing I love most about aged care is the fact that just by waking up and going to work, you are making a difference to peoples lives. I love the industry and the fact that we have the opportunity to make aged care great!
Christa found herself working in the kitchen of our Christies Beach Facility after she initially applied believing it was a restaurant many years ago! She then added cleaning, laundry and caring to her skillset and would work these four different shifts each fortnight, motivated by being the provider for her family and fulfilling her life-long travel dream. She now loves working in laundry and loves the hotel service team.
Christa always dreamt of seeing the pyramids in Egypt and not only fulfilled that dream, but has also visited the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower and the Colosseum. She has more locations on her bucket list which she continues to work hard towards.
Christa lost her partner years ago and brought up her adopted children mostly by herself. She now cares for her grandchildren also.
Milind has years of experience in the health care system and brings valuable clinical knowledge and leadership qualities to aged care. He also has a small family who he enjoys spending time with his family after work hours. He also loves watching movies and spending time reading books.
I like to make residents smile and feel special.
I just love my job. Being around some of the residents helps me feel connected to my own parents. I love to see the residents’ smiles, it’s a very rewarding atmosphere.
Santi has an amazing positive attitude. She loves working in aged care and feels it is a privilege to cook for our residents and see them enjoying their food!
The best part of my day is the time I spend talking to residents. I love having a laugh with them, and I get great satisfaction from seeing them happy.
When asking Benson about his role at Ipswich, he says he loves helping residents with their walkers, cuddling residnets and keeping residents feet warm.
Ann and Gary have each dedicated well over 10 years to volunteering with us. They working hard to create wonderful experiences with our residents.
My passion is interacting with the beautiful people with dementia. Experiencing dementia in my family prompted me to learn, and I now have a diploma in dementia care. Working in this environment brings challenges every day, and I love it.
My favourite part about working at our facility, is making the residents days, giving lots of hugs and seeing my friendly co-workers.
My role as a Project Coordinator sees me work from our National Support Office dealing with suppliers (and staff) in order to keep our supply chain running smoothly. I come from a passionate Italian background and am not shy in voicing my opinions in order to solve problems and support the team. I find it so rewarding seeing projects come together knowing I have helped in the process.
When I started a job in aged care I realised that my culinary expertise had the power to make a difference in the lives of elderly individuals. It became more than just preparing meals; it became a heartfelt responsibility to provide comfort, nourishment, and dignity to those in my care.
We love working in aged care. It’s lovely to greet the resident’s and help make their days special. Every day is different and very rewarding.
In 2018 Cici began working in aged care as an RN. She loved it and grew to understand the purpose and importance of aged care, and never left the field. Cici’s favourite thing about being in aged care is being able to make and see the changes for the better by implementing long term goals.

As Infinite’s National Hotel Services Manager, I have the opportunity to go into all our homes and around the residents to see our staff providing them memorable meals and moments.

I was born in a hill region of Nepal and my childhood was spent exploring new cities and towns of Nepal, India and Afghanistan. After finishing high school I wanted to be a lawyer, makeup artist, teacher and so many other things. I was passionate about everything, but once I found nursing I feel like I was born only to be a nurse and I love it.
I have 6 kids, a degree in History and Politics, am a qualified history teacher and I built and owned a number of Anytime Fitness Gyms in NSW over the years. I have brought over my varied expecrience to aged care these last 2 years and I hope it helps make aged care great!
While Allison works as a nurse, she also brings so much joy to our residents and team through her incredibly generous spirit and creativity! Allison single handedly sewed 1000 felt hearts to be given out to residents, staff and visitors as part of our 1000 hearts collaboration, and has recently crocheted over 130 worry worms (and still going!!) to bring a smile and comfort to our residents, teams members and visitors. We are so very grateful for her Infinite generosity and community spirit.
I chose aged care, as I love working with the elderly and enjoy making them happy. I am passionate about my work and like spending time listening to our residents stories and making everyone look and feel their best.
I love working in aged care because I feel that I’m looking after my parents and I want to share that care to the residents for their daily needs and quality of life, to make them feel comfortable and loved.

I have worked in the aged care sector since I was 16 (30 years now and showing my own age!) and I still love serving our seniors every day. I was not happy with the way aged care was when my grandmother was in care many years ago and I wanted to make a difference. My name is Fatima, and this is Sherry. She belongs to a resident here at Caravonica Waters. I look after Sherry so her owner can have her all day during my work hours. Sherry comes to work to spend time with the residents and she is our #1 employee. Seeing the happiness that she brings to everyone is very rewarding. I love working at Caravonica Waters.
I have been working as an IT Professional for some years already, however this is my first experience with aged care. I am passionate about providing quality IT support and service. I find working in aged care very fulfilling and rewarding because I can see the impact of my work on the well-being and happiness of the residents in all the facilities. I believe that every older person deserves respect, dignity, and quality of life and that’s why we are here to help them.

Coming from a non aged care background I make sure I always approach our marketing campaigns with a fresh perspective. I get so much satisfaction from being a small part of bringing some fun and colour to our residents and team.
I love coming to visit the old folk especially the ones that don’t get any visitors, having a chat and hearing stories about their past. As I have got older it is still something I can do and makes feel useful. They are all like a family to me.
I’ve been working in aged care for a year and I love my role as a personal care worker. I enjoy being with the seniors, as I feel that supporting them is extremely rewarding. Knowing I have the power to light up their day is so satisfying.

Denise has been with us since October 2020 and is an integral part of our Lifestyle team. Denise’s fantastic sense of humour and love of all things creative has brought 1000s of smiles to our residents. Her thoughts are never far from thinking up new ways of bringing different experiences to our residents, and she spends a lot of her own time scouring the shops to see what will inspire and delight them!
I’ve been a carer, Assistant in Nursing, Personal Care Assistant, Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing, Clinical Care Support Specialist and now Clinical Manager. I have been in aged care for over 14 years and this is where my passion lies.
Working for Infin8care is more like spending time with family than a job. The team are very supportive and as for the residents here, well what can I say, they are just beautiful people. We can all learn a lot from this generation if we are prepared to listen and I enjoy spending time with our residents, and hearing their stories. I also have the opportunity to use my creative side around the home now I work in the Lifestyle team. I have been working in aged care for 26 yrs starting as a carer until I moved over to lifestyle 8 years ago. I haven’t looked back!
I always wanted to make a difference, have meaning in my life and show my children to be kind. That is what led me to aged care and I found my passion and my calling. I don’t think I will ever leave. Making a difference to someones day, bringing happiness and love to the residents – especially in these uncertain times of the pandemic – is what I love about working in aged care. It is an honour and privilege.
I very much enjoy seeing the residents enjoying the activities, listening to the history of their lives, the love of their families, and providing that little bit of care unique to each particular resident. I strive to make their day a happy one.
I am inspired to make a difference in someone else’s life by being an advocate for those who can’t speak for themselves. But most of all, making a positive impact on as many people as I can continues to drive my career in nursing.
I always had a passion for the elderly, and in my heart I knew I was always eventually going to work in aged care. When I started here, I worked as a cleaner and kitchen hand, but I wanted to work closer with the residents so I studied to be a carer. I love working here and putting a smile on everyone’s face.
Richard is the most amazing maintenance man you could ever ask for. He loves coming to work, has a great rapport with the residents and nothing is ever too much trouble! He makes a difference every day by doing those little extras for the residents and the staff.
After being at Rose Court for 13 years Ana-Mee says she loves to make the residents smile, feel good, comfortable and safe, “working in aged care is the most heart-warming job in the world as I am able to make a huge difference in people’s lives.”
I am here for the residents and feel I am doing what I have to do to give them the best care. I am very particular about infection control and I tell anyone about what we need to do to keep the residents safe. I make sure they are getting a good quality of life.
I love working at Rose Court as the management is very supportive and there is a friendly work environment where it feels so easy coming to work every day. I find working in aged care truly rewarding, and live by this advice, “treat the residents with respect and dignity but most especially treat them as you treat your own family”.
