If you’ve been following along at home, it’s been hard to miss the blue and white in-your-face campaign we launched recently to highlight the fact that WE MAKE AGED CARE GREAT.
Let’s be clear though…we aren’t just talking about our team at Infinite Care, we are talking about everyone who chooses to work in aged care. Particularly in the current times where the Pandemic is unabating and in full force.
To be honest we had no idea when we conceptualised this campaign how much our staff would jump on board. We even had staff sneaking caps before we officially handed them out they were so keen to show the community they are one of the people who make aged care great!
Our official Launch last Friday saw all our sites take part with all the fanfare; decorations, hot dogs, popcorn, a launch video and lots and lots of photos which can be SEEN HERE!!
The campaign aims to support positive perception of the aged care industry at large and we encourage other aged care providers to join us to help promote aged care as a place that attracts workers who genuinely care about the positive difference they make every day.
If we can help our team feel pride in what they do and the job choice they have made, if we can help even a handful of people to view aged care in a more positive light, then our job is done.
As our Joint Managing Director, Chris Stride, commented, “Aged Care is a wonderful place to work and is filled with many career options and growth for anyone thinking about a career in the sector. For those that are contemplating care it is important that as a sector we rebuild community trust and know that most providers care beautifully for residents and remain passionate about the important role they play in those ageing and vulnerable in our community. We hope that many will join us to share the good news stories and change the perception of our sector and the important role that aged care providers play in supporting the community.”
