Let’s be honest, there are not many of us who don’t revolve their day around food! Or maybe that’s just us? It brings us sustenance and the energy to get through the day, but if we are lucky enough to have access to food we love then it is truly an event we look forward to!
It’s the same in our homes. We connect through food! Lunch and dinner are a daily highlight our residents really look forward to and we take that responsibility seriously! It also gives them a chance to see their friends and catch up on the latest goss – and we all love a bit of that…even the men (don’t pretend you’re not eavesdropping guys!)
Well in response to resident and family feedback we have been busy in North Queensland, overhauling our food experience! And it now not only includes as much local fresh produce as possible – some of it we even grow ourselves!
